Summer Adventure Guide

When it’s too hot to play outside and the days begin to drag - it’s time to set off on a grand adventure! We’ve put together a list of our favourite stories for those long hot summer days. Books full of midnight feasts, fantastical worlds, and mysteries to be solved. Dive in and see what treasures you can find!

 For babies to young children:

Rhyme Hungry by Antonia Pesenti

This narrative non-fiction tells the breathtaking story of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, the first people ever to set foot on the top of Everest. The full-page illustrations and captivating writing will fascinate and inspire the adventurous at heart.

 

Raven’s Song by Bren MacDibble and Zana Fraillon
